FotoFreo is a month-long biennial Festival of Photography that showcases the work of Australian photographers alongside leading photographers from Asia, Europe and the Americas. The first Festival took place in March 2002 and there have been five Festivals to date.

The main activities of FotoFreo are centred on the historic port city of Fremantle, Western Australia.

The Festival consists of a programme of core exhibitions and activities, mostly curated, arranged and funded by FotoFreo, as well as a Fringe programme of exhibitions and activities co-ordinated by FotoFreo but funded by third parties.
